<A target="_blank" HREF=http://www.racerxill.com>http://www.racerxill.com</A> reported yesterday:
Tim Staab update
We just got a phone call from FMXer Jeff Tilton, who visited his friend, injured desert racer Tim Stabb earlier today. As you may remember, Staab suffered a serious head injury in a crash last December and spent several weeks in a doctor-induced coma. According to Tilton, things are looking up for the racer. Tim is now free of any and all machines (respirators, etc.), and he has been moved to Alvarado Hospital Medical Center in San Diego. He is able to recognize visitors and communicate with them, although with a great deal of difficulty. By far the best new we heard from Tilt, however, is that doctors expect that Tim will, through intensive rehabilitation therapy, make a full recovery.
We'll keep you updated as soon as we hear more. Get well soon, Tim!
