Towing With a Three Link

I've been researching getting a three link built for my truck. This is just going to be a weekend toy to have fun with. During my reasearch I had a guy tell me that you can't tow with a three link. Is this true? I'm considering a three link for my '92 Explorer and will only be using it to tow a small trailer with either a golf cart or dirt bikes. Do any of you guys forsee any problems?

THE ONLY PROBLEM I CAN SEE IS THAT MOST PEOPLE SET UP THREE LINKS WITH REALY SOFT SPRING RATES. IF YOU HAVE A SUFICIENTLY HIGH SPRING RATE THAT CAN HANDLE SOME TOUNGE WEIGHT YOU SHOULD BE FINE. YOU CAN ALSO MOVE YOUR DUAL RATE STOP NUTS DOWN SO THAT YOU ARE INTO SECOND RATE @ RIDE HEIGHT FOR TOWING THEN MOVE THEM BACK UP FOR PLAY.

You might have a real nasty sway problem. But a sway bar can fix that or a stiffer spring setup.
