Re: TT\'s 250

You know everytime I read the "list" I see names of drivers that I have no idea what truck that is, such as Strunk, Cummins, Dye, Scarla. Anyone care to get me up to speed?

Re: TT\'s 250

Greg Adler is the official entry ( I assume) for Marty Coyne, and as you may remember Marty Coyne just bought Robby Gordon's Trophy Truck over New Years at the Fud race. Mark Dye is the driver of the Chevy Avalanche Trophy Truck. That truck broke a spindle and rolled in Parker so maybe they redigned the spindles? Because if anyone got a good look at the truck you could tell it was way overbuilt, so the I would not think the spindle would have just broken the way it did, though you hav eto keep in mind that the truck weighs 8,000lbs.

I still do not know who Strunk, Cummins, or Scarla are. But the name Strunk sounds very familiar for some reason, can anyone tell me why? Maybe what else he does or what he races or used to race besides a Trophy Truck??

Re: TT\'s 250

Bucky Strunk drives the predator truck. It was going to be a series like protruck, but he turned the truck into a trophy because the series never took off. He's out of Tucson, Arizona. I beleive he owns an excavating company called strunk brothers excavating or something similar to that. Tim

Re: TT\'s 250

how can that predator truck be legal in trophy/trick truck without a front grill and headlamp assembly(or sticker)?
i thought the rules state that the vehicle must resemble a production unit.

Re: TT\'s 250

Ahh yes, I knew I had heard that name before, and I remember that truck from Parker. Now who are Cummins and Scarla? I still have never heard those names before, do they sound familiar to anybody else? I am thinking that maybe one of them could be the driver of the blue Chevy that was at Parker, also at the MDR Lucerne 300 back in September when it was silver?

Re: TT\'s 250

I think that the truck raced by Cummins was out at MDR a few times last year. I know they blew the transmission at like mile 5 at the night race. Not sure how he did at the lucerne race. I think this is a pic of the truck.

Re: TT\'s 250

I believe that Scarla is a racer out of New Mexico. They brought Robby Gordons old ranger Trophy Truck. They raced it at Parker this year...with some knife sponser.

Re: TT\'s 250

the grill is behind the front bumper, and when he brought his truck by our shop a week ago I dont remember seeing a front headlight assembly, so I dont know what he plans on doing.
