I'm looking to put uniballs in my 77 F100 beams and was wanting some advice. What size uniball should be used? How should the ends be machined out and if anybody has a pic that would be greatly apprreciated. I don't want to take it all apart and put stock bushings back in.

Here's a older ranger beam Baker Motorsports added a uniball to the pivot. It may help you out a little on ideas.

I just made my beams from scratch, it was really easier than trying to adapt old stuff for what i wanted to do. But I used 1" uni-ball on the beam end and a 1"x 1.25 heim on the rad. arm. I used 1" bolts and no misalignment spacers because the way my rad. arms are designed, but i have a little more faith in 1" bolts than stepping down to 3/4.

Is there a preference between using Uniballs on the beam (like the pic above) as opposed to using Heims (like Camburg's custom beams) ?
Is one stronger or easier to maintain ?
