here’s an update on Cam Sinclair’s condition from his brother Mick. Make sure to leave some encouraging comments because, as you will read below, he will be happy to hear them.

Brooke, Monz, Mum and myself just returned from the Hospital Gregorio Maranon here in Madrid, which before I even start this update I will say that the Hospital and Hospital staff have been fantastic and Cam is in the best hands possible.

Cam has made some massive improvements over the last 24 hours, although he is not out of the woods yet and is still in intensive care he has came leaps and bounds since yesterday. I suppose the best result from today is that the bleeding on the brain is very minor and is not the cause for the lack of movement on his right side. We think he his finding it tough to move the right side of his body to landing on that side. He has a fractures of the Right Shoulder Blade, Right Cheek bone, and Right Shoulder Cup. These injuries can be fixed relatively easily so we are just glad that the problem we thought we had yesterday is confirmed not to be a problem.

The second bit of news we got today is that the repaired Liver is functioning and working as good as it can.

When we walked into ICU tonight his eyes lit up again, although he is still heavily sedated he knew we were there and was happy about it. We read him a few comments that people had left and you could tell he was trying to have a laugh, especially from the comments from Mase, OX and good friend Boka. I taking a small Australian Flag and put Sincs stickers on it, I told him to open his eyes and check it out, he did and gave us a nod, I asked him if he wanted me to stick it to his bed and he nodded again and opened his eyes once more.

The coolest thing about seeing Cam was just before we left him, and here is where I’ll hand it over to his fiance Brooke. “It was the best! As I was leaving I said “I’ll give u a million kisses, he nodded yes”. As I took a step away he opened his eyes so I blew him a kiss, he put his lips together and blew one back.”

We have had a lot of requests from friends and fans wanting to send things to Cam at the hospital. This is fantastic and I’m sure it will bring a big smile to his face, but we ask if you could please direct them to Hotel as he is still in ICU. The address is:

Hotel NH Parque Avenidas
Birarritz, 2
28028 Madrid, Espana

The support we’ve had during the past has been unbelievable. We cannot thank Red Bull Spain enough for everything they continue you to do. Toby, Brian and everyone else at Metal Mulisha for all their support and making sure we have everything we need. Everyone at FOX (Monza Imports) for their support and calming words. The fans for leaving Cam messages on this site, reading these to him has made him realize how much support is out there for him. Docter G back in LA for helping us understand exactly what’s going on with Cam and his situation. Maddo and Amy for everything they did and have offered and to all our friends and family.

We get to see him again tomorrow at midday and 7pm (Madrid) so will try my hardest to do another update in 24 hours.

I just watched an X-Fighters USA show on TV yesterday --- showed Cam Sinclair doing a successful double flip. I can only guess he crashed hard at a similar event in Spain? wishing him a full recovery!

UPDATE ON sinc - DAY 5

Hello everyone, Bailey here again.

Well as you know, Cam’s condition has been improving steadily every day since his accident here in Madrid last Friday. I am really happy to report, today is no exception; once again he has improved considerably since yesterday.

Before we saw him today we had a meeting with his doctor to discuss his condition. This is a standard daily procedure where all ICU patients families can be updated on the patients progress. Luckily for us, our new friends from X Fighters here in spain have been on hand each time to translate for us, as the doctor cannot speak English at all.

Basically everything she had to say today was good and he had improved a lot over night however the biggest news for us was that he was going to be able to be moved out of Intensive Care almost straight away! We were excited that he might be out of ICU this week however it turned out he was out and in the recovery ward by lunch time today! This once again really reassures us that Cam’s condition is no longer ‘critical’ and he is on the road recovery

It was obvious how much he had improved once again. He was far more awake and was speaking really well. Some of his comments and sentences didn’t make all that much sence, but all the same its great to hear him speak! He has absolutely no memory of his accident, or the past two weeks before hand. He had to ask a few times today where he was and Mick explained to him that he had crashed going head to head with Twitch at X Fighters in Madrid. While he is 100% better, his head still is not quite right. At one stage he came out with the comment of the day. In the hospital ward, Brooke asked Cam if he remembered us all and this was his reply.

“If I could remember you, I would remember you; but I can’t right now.”

Confused? So were we! He is getting his thoughts and memory together, but it might take a little time for his brain to catch up to all the information we are feeding him about the past two weeks

The ward Cam is in, is quite hot and not all that comfortable. But the best thing is he can at least have visitors as much as he likes, where as in ICU we could only go in for a few minutes, two people at a time. Tonight, Mick and Brooke are spending the night in the room with him, which i’m sure he will appreciate.

So as you can see, another really positive day! Hopefully tomorrow brings more good news, so we’ll update you all again then!

Thanks again for your support.

Bailey
