Here's a few photos I took from pics hanging in my dad's office. I figured I'd share. I don't see to many pics of old jeeps on here. Enjoy

We stopped racing it in 1992. Sold it to some guys that continued to race some in I think was the La Rana circuit. I have no idea where that thing is today.

We ran and won the last 2 years in the old Craftsman Jeep Comanche. Jeeps are almost as much fun as a Ford.

I'm curious about the Comanche. I crewed for Glenn Harris in late 90's, when he had a group of guys from a Japanese four wheel drive club rented the truck from him to do the Baja 1000. I pretty sure it was this truck, unless Leslie had more than one class 7 Jeep.

Hi racer44 -- here's a couple pictures of your Jeep from the 1976 SNORE 250 and the 1976 WRA 300.

One more of your rig, from Four Wheeler, April 1977.

Class3 Fan thanks for the pictures This is a picture of the complete cover the pickup truck ran into the back of the jeep we were probably doing 60 he was doing 100+ I don't believe ever had gone that fast. The dates I showed for Parker are wrong must be getting old I would say mid 70s.

Found this in my folks' photos and don't know anything about except it's Baja in the early 70s. And there's nothing better than a Hawaiian shirt fire suit.

Window nets were required for the first time in 1976, I believe, by most of the major sanctioning bodies, so that's a good guess. Some great rigs in those pictures -- the stretched Hightower CJ5, Rick Grumbein's CJ5, Gale Pike's Stroppe Bronco, Jim and Paul Hart's Bronco, and that single-seater Jeep, the owner of which escapes me now. I hope you post some more stuff, racer44.
