The next step is for their proposed bill to be finalized by staff so it can be handed over to their congressional delegates so they can introduce it has a bill before Congress. They are supposed to be setting up an OHV Committee made up of different OHV interests to get input for this bill. You can also contact your Nevada Senators to let them know you are OPPOSED to losing any more OHV recreational areas in Nevada and should say NO to any proposed legislation that comes before them. We HAVE the power but we must get all OHV people to stand up!
Please take the time to Fill out the contact form www.heller.senate.gov/public/index.cfm/contact-form use 89030 if you need a Nevada zip and let them know you don't want this land grab!!!

With Mad Media being heavily invested in the Mint 400, and this potentially removing much of the current course, have they a plan to move the event to another location ? Moapa area again possibly ?
The BLM will not permit anything north of Papco road they say "the soil is not good for off road racing" funny how for 40 years is was good for racing but not now

So the BLM that we fought and negotiated with for decades were assholes for protecting wildlife and preserving desert but allowing us to race. Now that we have a stable genius setting the agenda to open up as much public land for development as possible, the BLM are assholes for that too? How are you liking all this "winning" now?

Kenny, don't forget the EPA dust abatement issues with trying to race at the NELLIS OHV area. Oh...and dust cleanup concerns they have at all those lame/massive solar projects now on Moapa Land too. :(

Huge solar farm is in the works on both sides of the road just past the fireworks store, I doubt that will help racing on the north side of town.
