Going to race the next MORE night race, if a we should end up on the podium, what comes off the car for the scales??

Traditionally it's been tools, jack and spares.

You're supposed to have the fuel out when they weigh the car, but that's a pain. So unless you're close to the limit, I doubt they'd have you pump the fuel out.

Also, it's post race, you shouldn't have that much fuel left.

^^That's what I remember. Weigh the car, if it's close, drain the cell.

Thanks for the info, gonna weigh the car car maybe this weekend. It has alot of weight bolted to it.

they made 1600 drain the gas tanks, just sayin pain or not they will make you do it

^^^^ And they should make you drain fuel as it's the rule pain or not! What's close: 50/75/100lbs? 10 gallons is @ 63lbs so a guy with a 15-20 gal cell dumps a can last lap so close is a dumb thing to allow... No Tools, Spares, Jack or Fuel but safety equipment stays was always the rule before the new era.

Last time we were on the scales it was tools, spares and drain fuel. I have never not drained fuel when weighed.
