Im brewing up a project and am looking for some numbers or some cad files to help with it.
I want to take a Subaru WRX and fabrication a long travel suspension for it and give it some extra ground clearance obviously
ill replace the strut suspension up front with double a arm.
also track width isn't something im concerned with I fully expect this to get much wider than stock

My question is can I just take the dimensions of all the moving parts and make the XX% longer?
Is there a formula for long/short arm suspensions that I can follow and adjust accordingly to the specific. vehicle?
if there are other threads that answer this a link would be appreciated ( I promise I looked)

Basics

Figure out what hubs you are running, choose rims that will give you minimal scrub radius with your desired tires.

Stretech lowers to get desired track width/travel.

Figure out upper arm length and pivot height to get desired camber curve.

Figure out shock mounts.

Figure out axles.
