A class that sets the stage for being fast in ANYTHING.

1600.

IMO, the only thing that prepares you for winning better than them is racing bikes...

Class 9! :D So much history in that class for me, personally. Plus, it's not super-expensive, or so I'm told. Plenty of Competition too. Hopefully in the near future I'll be behind the wheel of one.

1600 or 10. The competition in 1600 is good, and class 10 cars look fun to drive.

How much more does a 5/1600 weigh than a 1600?

5 unlimited.... if you can go fast with 180hp and 105" wheelbase, you can go fast in anything.

16 takes a lot out of your wallet to run competitively, but that can be said of any class..it used to be jeepspeed was the new entry level class, but things seem to have tapered off a litlle bit, TL is a great new class but if I were to spend some money right now I would stick with 5-16...LOTS of great competition and if you can keep up with the leaders you can race anything
