Just about to change gear oil in my Fortin just wondering what other people use! And is there a viscosity to use to quit it down but still be effective! My car is mostly used for prerunning and sand use!

^^^ Use what Pat said. It won't quiet the gearbox down, but it's the best.

What do do think of maxima progear 75w-190? Anyone use this?
Yes. We are dealers for Maxima also. The Pro Gear 75w-190 has been used extensively in Fortin gearboxes with good results. As the guy who services the transmissions for fortin, I prefer the Redline. It clings to everything inside the trans even when it's sat unused for long periods of time
