Wheel base shortening

In the process of four linking my 98 f150 extracab. I bought the McNeil tt bedsides that are made for a shortened wheel base. Is there a common length on shortening up the rear wheels or do you have to mount the bedsides and adjust your wheel base from there?

I believe I'm a 140" wheelbase stock right now. And if I were to mount the new bedsides I would need to shorten wheel base five inches. Just measuring from front of fender to center of wheel which is 39". S my old fiberwerxs ones that are at 44"

These are just notes for myself. I'm sure the fabricator will know what todo. He was telling me that the tt trucks are running about a 120" wheel base

Right now stock wheelbase is at 140", and if I measure from front of bedside to center of wheel well my stock bedsides are 44" to center. My new fenders are 39" so gues my wheel base now will be at a total of 135" now. Assuming that's what I'm supposed todo. These are just for my personal notes I'm guessing the fabricator will knowwhat todo
