I need a new radiator for my 94 ranger prerunner. I just found out that my year old radiator in my truck right now is the wrong one. The one I have is for a 3.0 and my truck is a 4.0 v6 with 35's. I had problems with it in the summer but I thought it was just the thermostat, and summer is right around the corner. Where can i get a new one, maybe even an aluminum radiator, and how much do the aluminum radiators run?
Any advice would be greatly appreciated, Thank You.

I got one off ebay from a radiator company in compton. I had the radiator you have and I was overheating so I went to the 4.0 auto trans, A/C one and it is almost twice as thick. They even let me pick it up to save shipping. I think it was around $120. Check your fan clutch too. If you throw in the burliest one made it will drop the temp tremendously. I did this after running at 225 and as high as 250 on hot days with the new big radiator. It may sound like a jet engine but at least it runs at 180 all day long, regardless of ambient temp. I say go for the fan clutch first, I think I paid 70 for mine.

if it's not for the automatic transmission, just pick up a new one.
