Peterson was able to position himself mere yards away from the shark, but he made sure to stay at a water level that would be too shallow for the shark to reach. He also made sure to stay behind the shark, knowing that it is very difficult for large sharks to move or swim backwards.

White Sharks and all sorts of other big fish enjoy the bounty and isolation that the Sea of Cortez has to offer.

Many types of Whales are known to birth their young or bring them into the area to get bigger / stronger.

Yes it's real. Researchers have tagged them with GPS trackers a followed their migration in & out of the sea of Cortez.
