What started out five years ago as group of guys heading out to Pismo Beach to jump their trucks for the weekend has turned in to one of the wildest grassroots events of the summer. Each year, the Pismo Beach HuckFest has grown substantially and this year, more than 20,000 people gathered for one common objective. The idea is simple. Each driver gets three attempts to huck their vehicles the furthest distance. Mike Higgins launched his truck 169ft to take the win in the unlimited category, Jeff “Chop” McMillan won the 1400/1450 class with a distance of 136ft and “Ballistic” BJ Baldwin had the best combined distance of 425ft.
