We can all stop holding our breath! FORD has revealed the 2017 FORD Raptor and it is pure bad ass! How do you make a Raptor better? You lighten it by utilizing FORD’s new aluminum body construction, add a twin-turbo Ecoboost V6 engine, connect that to a 10-speed transmission, make it six inches wider than the standard model, and add new FOX 3.0 shocks to start.
Worried about power? According to FORD the turbo V6 will have more power than the last generation’s 411-horsepower, 434-lb.-ft. 6.2-liter V8. But wait that’s not all! The 2017 FORD Raptor also comes with new technology including a new transfer case, and optional torsen differential in the front. The fun button previously known as “Off-Road Mode” has evolved to a pre-programmed Baja mode. We can’t wait to get our hands on one of these bad boys and shake it down!
