The 2021 Sertoes Rally in Brazil kicked off this week with the shakedown, registration and today’s Prologue to set the start order for Stage 1 tomorrow. The Prologue was an 11km Special that wound through fields of Sugar Cane. Casey was 80th off the line and was able to put the Polaris RZR Pro XP into 25th overall out of 90 vehicles.
“Prologue is done! We’re 25th out of 90. It was good, we started 80th off the line so it was a little rutted up out there but overall, it was good, it was fun. Obviously, the car is stock and it’s doing good. I think we’re going to have a lot of fun. The days are going to get long, I think tomorrow’s stage special is 250km, and over 400km total. I think now the journey of rally begins. Let’s keep pushing and have this RZR moving forward.” – Casey Currie
Casey is currently running an all stock Polaris RZR Pro XP due to a small hiccup importing their wheels, tires and shocks. Brazil had shut down all imports from the U.S. at the beginning of the month but they have been informed that the parts are supposed to arrive today and will go on the car for Stage 1.
