The Trophy-Truck, an engineering masterpiece result of years and years of racing in the desert, for us there’s no better race machine on earth that can be compared to a Trophy-Truck. Geiser Bros usually have the most amount of entries at the starting line in Trophy Truck, their trucks have been proven with multiple wins and championships which only a few builders have had that honor.
This past San Felipe 250 we stopped by RPM’s shop to shoot the current championship winning truck of Apdali Lopez, the kid who at only 20 years old and with support of RPM and Clyde Stacy is a serious threat at any race he races.
We wanted to do things a little different this time, instead of just shooting a brand new shiny truck, we shot it before and after the race and put it together in one gallery showing the aftermath. The carnage that this machine has to go through but unfortunately for us, Apdali went easy on the truck at San Felipe putting less damage to the truck than we would like to show, there’s no other sport that shows the scars of “the game” in such a beautiful way as Off-Road.
We want to thank Rick Geiser, the Geiser/RPM crew and especially TT prep crew chief Matt Alley who was kind enough to miss the after party to let us shoot the truck after the race.
Also we are bringing back the Wallpaper section that used to rock on RDC a few of years ago, starting with this photo above, feel free to download it an HD version HERE.
