With a playboy lifestyle of girls, guns, and money Dan Bilzerian is a larger-than-life character known for going over the top with anything he does. His car collection is no exception which includes a Mercedes G63 6×6, a Ferrari, and even a 6-ton M36 military truck, but his recent addition to his fleet is without a doubt our favorite. Dan’s new luxury preunner built by Geiser Bros Performance & Development is a 900hp truck built to withstand the toughest terrain, complete with a starlight headliner. Why have a starlight headliner? To match his Rolls Royce, that’s why.
Dan Bilzerian isn’t new to crazy high horsepower off-road machines, he has had a Jimco prerunner buggy, and plenty of UTVs. But his relationship started with Geiser about four years ago when he bought a Geiser Prerunner from Josh Daniel. It was a crew cab Chevy Silverado with a long wheelbase, and when it came time for a new truck, he looked no further than Geiser.
The truck is based on a Ford Raptor body and tube chassis similar to the new generation Geiser Trophy Truck known as the G6. Dan wanted a shorter wheelbase compared to his previous truck to fit four people comfortably. To accommodate that, Geiser sectioned the cab by over 8″ to fit the carbon-fiber Impact racing seats. Having lengthened the cab, they were still able to maintain the 142″.
But Dan needed to take it a step forward and told them, “I need the rear door bar to be a lot lower to make it easy for girls to get in and out. – The truck will need to be able to seat three girls and me comfortably.” The rear door bar was lowered as well to accommodate that request while still maintaining structural rigidity. But that is what is so great about working with a builder; you can tailor your truck exactly to fit your needs.
Powering the truck is a 900hp Dougans racing engine mated to a 4speed paddle-shift transmission sending power out to a Tubeworks 10″ rear end. With a 94-gallon fuel cell, you can expect an economy fuel sipping 2 MPG.
The suspension utilizes 4.5 Fox Racing Shocks coil-overs and bypasses, pulling 24″ of wheel travel in the front and 30″ in the rear.
These trucks are engineering masterpieces made to have modern comforts while maximizing off-road performance, and the interior is where the term “luxury” comes in. Unique Upholstery in Arizona developed a bespoke interior – from the leather-wrapped dash and roll cage to a custom starlight headliner. A similar headliner can be seen in a Rolls Royce, a detail that undoubtedly goes a long way.
There are subtle hints of his logo placed throughout the truck, including the custom set of wheels Geiser built for the truck. The logo can also be seen on aluminum panels and headrests.
Geiser has done it again and built a one-of-a-kind engineering masterpiece of a truck. Regardless of what Dan Bilzerian does with this truck, we know he will have a good time with this incredible truck. Maybe we will see him prerunning down in Baja this year. If you are interested in his old Geiser truck, you can find it here on the Race Dezert Classifieds for $365,000.
