ENSENADA, Baja California, Mexico — Nearly 18 months in the making, Dana Brown’s long-awaited ‘Dust 2 Glory,’ the follow-up motorsports documentary to highly-acclaimed ‘Dust to Glory,’ launched in 2005, will have a special nationwide premiere event in U.S. Cinemas on Wednesday, Dec. 6, announced today by SCORE International, the World’s Foremost Desert Racing Organization.
Sept. 30 a special sneak preview of ‘Dust 2 Glory,’ hosted by Brown, was shown to off-road industry manufacturers, aftermarket companies, media, racers and VIPs attending the massive Off-Road Expo at the Fairplex in Pomona, Calif. It was shown on huge SCOREvision LED screens at the SCORE Baja 1000 Exhibit in Building 5 at the public trade show which concludes today, Oct. 1, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
‘Dust 2 Glory’ was produced by BCII in association with SCORE International and Dana Brown Films. BCII’s Bud Brutsman is executive producer.
Following in the trail of ‘Dust to Glory,’ the new ‘Dust 2 Glory’ has chronicled each of the four races in the 2016 SCORE World Desert Championship as well as the 2015 SCORE Baja 1000. Brown’s original ‘Dusty to Glory’ became an iconic classic showcasing the legendary SCORE Baja 1000.
Showing on Wednesday, December 6, at 7:30 p.m. local time, this one-night screening is being distributed by Fathom Events. Tickets for this special night of ‘Dust 2 Glory’ will be available starting Monday, October 23, at www.FathomEvents.com and participating theater box offices. ‘Dust 2 Glory,’ which began shooting at the 2015 SCORE Baja 1000, continued up close and personal coverage capturing the robust racers in their amazing adventures in Mexico’s majestic Baja California peninsula through all four spectacular 2016 races.
BFGOODRICH TIRES SCORE BAJA 1000
Over 350 entries, from 40 U.S. States and 30 countries are expected to compete in this year’s 50th annual BFGoodrich Tires SCORE Baja 1000.
The world’s most iconic, oldest, prestigious and longest continuously held desert race, this year’s BFGoodrich Tires SCORE Baja 1000 will be held as a race down Mexico’s majestic Baja California peninsula, starting in Ensenada, Baja California Norte and finishing in La Paz, Baja California Sur. Dates for the race and race week festivities are Nov. 12 through Nov. 18.
The race will be televised at a future date as a two-hour special on the El Rey Network.
