Compton, California (April 11, 2018)– This weekend, Greg Adler will be kicking off his 2018 short course off-road racing campaign as the Lucas Oil Off Road Racing Series launches the much anticipated season under the lights at Wild Horse Pass Motorsports Park in Chandler, Arizona. Saturdaynight, April 14thwill mark the first round of series competition and Adler will have his mettle tested among the sport’s elite in the marquee Pro4 division as the sun sets on the Arizona desert. The event fittingly dubbed the “4 Wheel Parts Off-Road Nationals”, will feature Adler, the company executive as Grand Marshall of the event and later, on the track taking on the purpose built, high-flying, three-quarter-mile-long, off-road battlefield in the evening’s main event.
“4 Wheel Parts and Lucas Oil Products have enjoyed a tremendous partnership for many years and we are proud to once again be kicking off a brand new season of off-road racing together,” said Adler “This series continues to be a fantastic venue for us to share our enthusiasm for off-road while interacting with an incredibly passionate fan base who pack the pits and the grandstands to be a part of one of the most exciting forms of motorsports anywhere.”
For the Arizona State University Alum, Adler’s focus on his dual roles as corporate ambassador and short course off-road competitor will quickly shift to the latter as he takes to the track in Chandler, on the outskirts of Phoenix looking to set the tone for 12-round season that extends through October.
“We’ve spent a lot of time at this facility over the years and have been pleased to have had success and earn some wins here,” said Adler. “This weekend, we’re going to have quite a few friends, family and colleagues in the stands supporting us and with them in our corner, we’re going to put it all on the line out there and see where we’re at when the checkered flag drops.”
If you won’t be in Chandler, Arizona this weekend to catch the action live, the Lucas Oil Off Road Racing Series is broadcast on CBS, CBS Sports Network, MavTV and LucasOilRacing.TV.
