The Best In The Desert series, BlueWater Desert Challenge race, (BWDC) was the polar opposite of their previous event, Vegas to Reno. At Vegas to Reno, Coleman Racing had to pace themselves over the 640 mile course. BWDC is a two-day sprint-race event that demands running flat out on back to back days. Desert racing is going to pound you; it’s just a matter of which form it will take.
“A minor issue with the steering was made worse by the pace we were running,” said Jason Coleman, “The good news is that we figured out the cause and have a fix for it. The bad news is that we were only able to run at 80% pace when 110% was needed. We finished 9th on Saturday, and worked our way up to 6th overall after Sunday’s heat race. We had our King Shocks dialed in for the rough conditions and our Radar Tires and Method Race Wheels were able to handle the abuse. We race to win; no matter how tough things get, we do whatever it takes to get to the finish line. We were motivated to get to this race to support Radar Tire’s Mobilizing Hope campaign. Mobilizing Hope raises money and awareness to find a cure for Breast Cancer. The campaign has raised a million dollars so far. We are happy to support such a great cause.”
Jason Coleman and his Coleman Racing crew continue to refine their Radar Tires, Golden Construction, Christian Belle Electric, Sunbelt Flooring, Avalon Fire Protection, Millers Woodworking, Universal Metro, Twin Steps Architecture, Lunas Plumbing, Rugged Radios, Baja Designs,Method Race Wheels, Jamar, LAT Racing Oils, VP Racing Fuels, McKenzie’s, Laughlin Tourism Commission, and SignPros Jimco at every race.
