Keegan Kincaid Aims to End 2021 on High With Double-Duty Crandon Weekend
Professional off-road racer Keegan Kincaid will prepare to bid the Pro 2 class farewell for the 2022 season and return to Pro 4 by pulling double duty in the final Championship Off-Road event of the season at his hometown Crandon International Raceway. The former Crandon World Cup winner will look to reclaim the iconic title in his return to Pro 4, which will serve as his new home for the following season, and aim to end a largely successful 2021 Pro 2 season on a high note.
“It’s always great to be back home at the Big House, but this year at Crandon is different,” said Kincaid. “We’re back in the Pro 4 ranks for the first time in a few years, but we’ll also be looking to wind down our Pro 2 season with another big win. Running both trucks on the same weekend is a unique challenge, but it’s also a lot of fun to have double the track time. I can’t wait to get back out there and go for the World Cup and Pro 2 title!”
But off-road racing is about looking ahead, not behind, and the return to a rapidly expanding Pro 4 field is a representation of that. Foreshadowing his full-time return to the division next year, Kincaid will get back behind the wheel in the class for at least two of his five scheduled races on the weekend. For the big-money Crandon World Cup that pits both classes against one another to wrap up the season, he’ll make the final call based on speed and track conditions at the end of the day.
