Ken Block completes his 2011 Gymkhana World Tour, beats current Australian V8 Supercar champion Jamie Whincup in a drag race and does his signature Segway donuts for the crowd—first try with no practice!

September 5th, Melbourne, Australia: After tens of thousands of miles traveled and hitting three separate continents, Monster World Rally Team driver, Ken Block, has successfully completed his first-ever Gymkhana World Tour. The traveling hoonfest took Block and the Gymkhana video series antics he’s become known for around the world, literally bringing the Internet to life and directly to the faces of screaming fans.

“This whole tour has been amazing for me,” said Block. “From the start, what I wanted to do was bring gymkhana directly to the fans. Seeing it online is one thing, but it’s way more intense and awesome in real life. I’m stoked that we pulled this whole thing off and I think that ending the tour here in Australia was perfect. Of all the places we went this year, nobody loves some hooning like Australians do! Plus, I got to drag race the current V8 Supercar champion, Jamie Whincup, twice at the end of the day in front the crowd. He jumped the gun on the first run, but on the second one it was a clean start and I took him. Not everyday you get to say you beat a world champ!”
In addition to using his Gymkhana THREE Ford Fiesta to beat Jamie Whincup in a drag race, Block also wowed the crowd with an un-practiced finale of his signature move—doing donuts around a moving Segway—which marked only the fourth time in his career that he had ever done them.
