Kyle Leduc Brings The Heat At Speedworld

The heat and wind came full force today as Rounds 5 & 6 got underway at Speedworld for the LOORRS race weekend. Kyle Leduc once again put his Pro 4 on top as he qualified first, besting his brother Todd by a mere .300 of a second. Everyone is waiting for Kyle to make a mistake but it doesn’t look like he has plans to do that anytime soon. With the inversion Eric Barron and Carl Renezeder will start up front, with Renezeder looking to get that much closer to his 100th win.

In the Prolite class the young guns of RJ Anderson, Bradley Morris, and Chad George ran the top 3 laps times respectively. Ringing his 4 cylinder out to the max Chris Brandt hung on to the 4th stop. Less then two seconds separate the top 15 trucks, so we expect to see some great racing in Round 5.

Pro 2 saw Brian Deegan break off a front wheel while launching off the back table top on his third lap, though his times were good enough to put him 11th. Qualifying first went to Rob MacCachren (almost a second faster then Geiser) followed by hometown hero Jeff Geiser, and Greg Adler taking his momentum from Elsinore to round out the top 3.
