McKenzie’s Rage at the River put on by SNORE is one part serious competition and two parts pure fun! Laughlin is a perfect setting to have an off-road race with plenty of hotels and food, plus easy access for spectators and racers to the famed Laughlin off-road track. Every year SNORE puts together a fantastic affordable event for racers and fans alike with two days of racing, free spectating, and a focus on classes that we don’t see large numbers in at other races such as 1600 and 1450. In a world of high cost sporting events, Rage at the River is an inexpensive event to have tons of fun as both a racer or a spectator.
A soft but notoriously rough course, the Laughlin off-road track provides easy access and great spectating. With nearly 400 entries expected you can bet the limited classes will be stacked with heavy competition including Class 9, Class 10, Class 12, Class 13, and Class 15. Rage at the River also now offers a UTV class so new UTV racers can get their feet wet on the 14 mile course.
Last year Justin “Bean” Smith took the overall in both the unlimited truck and 1600 class. He returns to defend his title in the unlimited truck class.
Jake Povey and Dustin Hellstrom beat the field of nearly 40 trucks to come away with the win in the 1450 class.
Rage at the River is the perfect race to come shake the cobwebs off that 1600 or 1450 that’s been sitting in your garage waiting to get into the dirt!
