Just because there has been a break from racing doesn’t mean that Justin Lofton has slowed down a bit; plenty of action has been happening off the race course. On the fan front, the JustinLofton41.com store is now live. Hats, posters, and canvas prints can be ordered online, and you receive an additional 10% off when you sign up for Justin’s newsletter on the Justinlofton41.com website. Go to the website to save some green on your favorite items.
Speaking of green(s), Justin participated in the 2nd annual Fishgistics Golf Tournament held at the Twin Oaks Golf Course in San Marcos, California. The Justin Lofton Foundation sponsored a hole with proceeds going to the Door of Faith Children’s Orphanage in La Mission, Baja California (Just below La Fonda). Helping children for over 50 years, the orphanage currently houses over 100 children. Check out the video of delicious #AHBEEF hitting the grill at the tournament.
The Justin Lofton Foundation has their own charity events on the schedule including the 3rd annual dueling piano night on Sept, 6th at the Stockmen’s Club of Imperial Valley, and the 10th annual Golf tournament on Jan, 18th of 2020. Go to: https://www.
Every year Justin and a small group of family members organize a trip through Nevada. They explore ghost towns, old abandoned mining towns, and various scenic areas. Nevada is an awesome state with a lot of rich history in shaping the United States. “Our group consisted of 7 trucks,” said Justin. “This is the 8th year of the trip. Most of the group has been on all 8 trips. My dad and I have done 7. This year’s trip was through the final areas of Nevada that we had not been to before. Starting in Virginia City we went due north to the Oregon border. Day one was Virginia City to Gerlach. Day 2 was Gerlach to McDirmmit. On day 3 we traveled from McDirmmit to Lovelock. The final day we went to Cold Springs. Along the way we had the chance to race our raptors across the black rock desert where the land speed record was set by ThrustSSC, and its driver Andy Green. We could only dream of hitting Andy’s 763MPH record speed. Look for our “The #AHBEEF LIFE” episode coming out after V2R. In all we ran 1000 miles in 4 days.”
Maybe Justin will have a chance at Andy’s record thanks to his new Danzio P620 Big Block engine that will be powering his FOX, STEEL-IT, MultiCam, #AHBEEF Jimco Trophy Truck named BadCo at Vegas to Reno. V2R has many long sections in the 550 mile course where Justin will be able to open it up and run flat out. V2R is the longest off road race in the United States; a tough challenge that combines blazing speed with incredible endurance. Pre-race activities begin on August 14th in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Vegas to Reno will be a big challenge and require teamwork to take the win. FOX, STEEL-IT, MultiCam, #AHBEEF, Justin Lofton Foundation, BFGoodrich Tires, Method Race Wheels, Cometic Gaskets, Walker Industries, Justice Brothers, Brembo Brakes, Baja Designs, Holley EFI, Jimco Racing, Klotz Lubricants, FK Rod Ends, and Torco Race Fuels all contribute to the incredible pace Justin needs to win. For those who follow his popular #AHBEEF life video series, and are curious how the team stays fueled, pure #AHBEEF is the key.
