ORMHOF CLASS OF 2018 ANNOUNCEMENT SET FOR JULY 11
The ORMHOF Board of Directors has voted to change the By-Laws to allow an increased number of inductees to be considered each year. Previously, a minimum of three and a maximum of five inductees could be considered. The new By-Laws allow for a maximum of seven inductees in any one year. To be inducted, a nominee must still receive votes from a minimum of two-thirds of the Voting Committee members.
“We have a number of excellent nominees waiting in the wings,” chairman Mark McMillin said, “and this change will allow us to recognize them sooner, rather than later.”
A Voting Committee comprised of sixteen industry professionals and five members of the ORMHOF Board of Directors has selected the Class of 2018 from a field of 54 nominees.
The Off-Road Motorsports Hall of Fame Class of 2018 will be announced on July 11. The ORMHOF 2018 Induction & Awards Ceremony will take place on Monday, October 29 at the South Point in Las Vegas.

ORMHOF inductee and board member Dick Landfield teamed up with fellow inductee Bill Savage for the 2018 NORRA Mexican 1000.
The duo piloted their Team O.L.D. (ORMHOF Loves Dirt) Ford Raptor, decked out in Hall of Fame colors, 1,000 miles down the Baja Peninsula.
Landfield, at age 85, may be the oldest driver of record to ever finish the race. Congratulations!
ORMHOF WELCOMES NEW PARTNERS
ORMHOF is funded entirely by donations and through the support of our members and partners. We welcome these great organizations to the Hall of Fame!
THANK YOU TECNO DISPLAY
Company Donates New Display Cases to ORMHOF
Tecno Display, a Sparks, Nevada based company, has donated twenty new display cases to the Hall of Fame. The cases have been transported to Jean, Nevada, where they will be used to display off-road memorabilia in the Off-Road Motorsports Hall of Fame museum at the Gold Strike.
“This is a great addition to the Hall of Fame,” said chairman Mark McMillin. “We sincerely thank Tecno Display for their generous donation.”
The new displays compliment the posters ORMHOF acquired from the San Diego Auto-motive Museum “No Roads Required” exhibit.
Also on display are several Hall Racing trophies, the Checker’s Vic Van Ella Award, and a Rob MacCachren’s fire suit, and a dozen iconic off-road vehicles.
ORMHOF is working with The Mint 400, SNORE, Best in the Desert, and other groups to expand the display.
Celebrate the past. Be part of the future.

One of these is not like the others: Mickey Thompson Challenger IV at the La Jolla Concours d’Elegance
ORMHOF board member Rory Ward’s Mickey Thompson Challenger IV has come a long way since he brought the chassis home on a trailer seven years ago.
Rory was recently invited to enter the Challenger IV in the prestigious Concours d’Elegance in La Jolla, California.
“We finished 2nd in the race car division behind the 1963 Lola GT … it was only worth around $10 million,” Rory said. “We call that a win!”
On behalf of the entire board of directors, I would like to thank and
recognize these businesses and individuals for their support of the
Off-Road Motorsports Hall of Fame.
We invite you to join this distinguished group.
