Rain Can’t Keep Racers Away For LOORRS Round 5

The Lucas Oil Offroad Racing Series headed back to Tooele Utah for Round 5 of racing today and in front of the loyal fans put on a great show. Mother nature sprayed the track in the morning with a few hours of rainfall so LOORRS officials decided to skip qualifying to let the track dry out. Starting order was determined by points and things kicked off right at 1pm with the Mod Karts hitting the track.

In Mod Kart this year we’ve seen some great battles each round with Hailie Deegan and Christopher Polvoorde and today was more of the same.

The Mod Kart class has consistently had one of the highest numbers of entires each race.

Poelvoorde won today decreasing the points lead Deegan has over him.
