Come check out the full line of American Made LED Lights at The Mint 400 contingency!
The Mint 400 announced the return of RIGID Industries, the original LED light bar company, as a returning sponsor to The 2017 Mint 400. Proudly made in the USA, RIGID will be displaying its full line of LED Lights at the massive Odyssey Battery Mint 400 contingency right in the heart of downtown Las Vegas on Fremont St. East.
RIGID will be showcasing their new line of LED light including the all new CHASE, IGNITE, RADIANCE, as well as a host of other LED product and accessories for your truck, Jeep and UTV. RIGID LED Lighting, high performance leader in LED Light Bars, OE truck lights, Grilles, Marine Spreader Lights, and Public Safety Scene Lights, proudly sponsors off-road Champion “Ballistic” BJ Baldwin, who won the Mint 400 in 2011 and will again be competing for the overall at this years race. Baldwin, a native to Las Vegas, will be battling the field of 379 vehicles for the chance to be called champion.
The RIGID® Adapt™ LED light bars are the world’s first off-road lighting products that adjust instantly to driving conditions. Having to choose one fixed beam pattern, such as a spot or flood, is now a thing of the past. The RIGID Adapt offers 8 selectable beam patterns that range from broad short-distance lighting to highly focus long-distance lighting in a single fixture. Beam patterns can be selected manually with the RIGID Dash Controller, or may be placed in an Adaptive Mode in which Adapt engages its Active View™ technology to actively adjust light output suitable for your vehicle’s speed. Available in 10-inch to 50-inch lengths.
“The Mint 400 is the perfect event for RIGID to showcase our full line of LED lights for trucks and UTV’s and directly reach enthusiasts,” stated Rigid industries Senior Director of Marketing, Brian Godfrey.
“RIGID has its roots in off-road racing. They are the pioneers of LED lightbars and LED technology which vastly improved light performance in the harsh proving ground of off-road racing. They also build products for everyday consumers who just want better lighting for their street vehicles. They have been a longtime supporter of The Mint 400, off-road racing and have supported many teams and athletes,” stated Mint 400 CEO, Matt Martelli.
Come and visit RIGID R.E.D Lab at Tech & Contingency to check out the self-contained mobile display that is devoted to promoting and educating consumers about RIGID lighting products. Much more than just a traditional promotional display, the RED Lab is a comprehensive, interactive educational tool that goes in-depth to explain how and why RIGID products are the best on the market. The Rolling Educational Display, or RED Lab for short, will be open March 3rd on Fremont Street East and Saturday, March 4th at the Primm Valley Mint 400 Start/Finish Line in Primm, NV directly behind Buffalo Bills Casino.
About The Mint 400
Known as “The Great American Off-Road Race™,” The Mint 400 is the oldest, most prestigious, and most challenging off-road race on the planet. This annual four-hundred mile marathon between the top off-road racers in the world includes over three hundred and fifty race teams in twenty-four different classes of off-road vehicles. Established in 1967, The Mint 400 is steeped in American lore. Thousands of racers and celebrities from around the world have attempted to tame the brutal Nevada desert, but less than half of them have ever finished the Mint. An entire week of events lead up to the famed off-road contest in and around Las Vegas, including a vehicle parade down the Las Vegas Strip, a drivers meet and greet, a pit crew challenge contest, the Miss Mint 400 beauty pageant, massive parties, a qualifying race, and a huge ten-block “contingency” gathering on Fremont Street East. Over forty-thousand spectators gather to watch the worlds best off-road race teams do battle at The Mint 400!
