SCORE INTERNATIONAL AND AURA360 OFFER FANS COMPREHENSIVE BAJA 1000 VIEWING EXPERIENCE
Race distribution to span network, cable and international television, on-line and multiple DVD releases following the 42nd SCORE Baja 1000
NEW YORK, NY: November 18, 2009 — Aura360 Ventures together with SCORE International will once again provide extensive video to a global audience from the desert at the 2009 SCORE Baja 1000.
The 2009 SCORE Baja 1000 will air on NBC’s World of Adventure Sports show as a one hour special on December 19th at 2:00 p.m. ET/11:00 a.m. PT. The one hour show will also be televised on Universal HD and be distributed world-wide via ESPN International.
Video from the race will immediately be posted on-line by an edit crew stationed on-site; first on thebajaunlimited.com, YouTube and Facebook, followed by longer segments on Nbcsports.com and Hulu.com.
Two DVD’s will be generated from this year’s race. The official race broadcast, and the “Baja Unlimited II: Director’s Cut”, a comprehensive DVD special due out in early 2010. Narrated by legendary SCORE President Sal Fish and racer Cameron Steele, the DVD will feature some of the most compelling never seen before SCORE footage from the past 4 years in addition to behind the scenes highlights from the 2009 race. Viewers will be given an inside look at the people and moments that have made the Baja 1000 an international spectacle. The Baja Unlimited II: Director’s Cut will be available for sale in early 2010.
This year’s production will feature a series of innovative elements such as the utilization of 6 prototype GoPro HD Motorsports HERO POV cameras
Production crews will spend extra time in Baja capturing behind the scenes content.
