Team ReadyLIFT® Racing’s Marty Hart Wins Epic Battle at the New High Speed Wild West Motorsports Park in Sparks, Nevada
Marty Hart Wins Round 11 and sets Fast Lap of the Race!
For Immediate Release:
Marty Hart has become the fan and racer’s favorite driver of the 2012 Lucas Oil Off Road Racing Series season. In a Pro2 field littered with top level talent and professional veterans, it seems the “cowboy” as the series has labeled him has become the favorite driver in the class. The roar of the packed grandstands when Hart took the lead in Saturday’s Round 11 Pro 2 race was truly amazing! The cheering was so loud it wouldn’t be surprising if Marty could hear it over the 800+ horsepower singing under the hood of his ReadyLIFT® OffRoad Suspension/ Maxxis Tire/ GearUp2Go.com Ford.
The new Wild West Motorsports Park in Spark, Nevada just outside of Reno lived up to the hype for sure! It was said the plan was to build something like the legendary Chula Vista track which has long held the fan-labeled title of being the most exciting track in the sport. Lucas Oil didn’t disappoint! This huge high speed track offered incredible elevation changes and massive jumps that would send the 80-plus mph trucks hurling wildly through the air.

The ReadyLIFT® Off Road Suspension / Maxxis Tire / GearUp2Go.com Pro2 race team with Marty at the helm had one goal this weekend. That was to win and take back the points lead that was lost just a few weeks prior when an electrical gremlin sidelined Marty for most of the Round 10 race at Glen Helen. After a solid qualifying attempt and some field shuffling, Hart would start the Round 11 race on the second row with fellow lead point battlers Rob Mac and Brian Deegan surrounding him.
On a hot and windy evening the battle royal began and it was the top contenders who were dicing it up lap after lap trying to take a firm hold of the front position. Marty had his hands full with points rivals Rob Mac and Deegan. They were all door-to-door for a reason. Hart’s high speed focused driving skill presented him with numerous opportunities he quickly capitalized on. Hart soon found himself leading the race and the crowd definitely let him know they were rooting for him to pull it off. Leading is one thing. Winning is something altogether different. After a few cautions bunched the field back up, Greg Adler took an opportunity to pinch off Marty’s line exiting turn 2, taking the lead and leaving Hart more determined than ever to get it back! The plan was to apply pressure at the right time. The plan worked just when Hart expected it to as he powered around a spinning Adler. Once again Hart proved that no lead is final until that checkered flag waves. On this day it would be Marty Hart capturing his 4th win of the Pro 2 season as well as being awarded for setting fastest lap of the race!

The weekend wasn’t all lined with shiny trophies and valuable points. The Team ReadyLIFT® Racing crew had to work harder than at any race before to put a competitive truck under Hart. The big jumps in practice resulted in a labyrinth of mechanical and structural issues that had the team working overtime to fix the damages and make changes to the truck to give Hart the handling and speed he needed. This Round 11 win was truly won by the entire team! A team comprised of a family and friends who work together to give Marty what he needs to fight for the 2012 Pro 2 Championship. With only three points races remaining in the season, the competition is getting tougher. And the competition is also wondering just how in the world someone who actually races for the fun of it rather than racing being their fully funded job can be so dominant race after race. The answer has been proven on the track through the season – Marty Hart and this team is just that good! Plain and simple.
ReadyLIFT® and Marty Hart fans, be sure to check your local listing in the coming weeks to watch Marty taking the win at Round 11 when it airs on CBS. If you can’t wait, then you will definitely want to join the team at Rounds 13-14 at Las Vegas Motors Speedway on Sept 21-22, 2012 where the battles on this proven high speed track will not disappoint!
