Teenagers and “The Kid” Dominate Qualifying at LOORRS Season Opener

The opening round of the Lucas Oil Offroad Racing Series is officially underway, with practice and qualifying being held today under the heat. In Pro 4 Kyle Leduc posted the fastest lap of the day in his newly sponsored Monster Energy / Toyo Tires beast. His time of 41:616 was almost 1 second faster then defending Pro 4 champion Carl Renezeder, who pulled over and let Kyle pass to check out his lines. Carl who was sporting a broken angle on his driving foot managed to also qualify first in Pro 2.

Bradley Morris who racing the Prolite class for the first time put up a class best time of 45:857, beating veteran Chris Brandt who took second. Morris also took his usual seat in the Limited Buggy and posted another first qualifier to add to his arsenal. The story of the day was all the young guns who came from Trophy Kart, Limited Buggy and Superlite classes and stepped up to pro classes such as Sheldon Creed, Mitch Dejong, Chad George, Bradley Morris, among many others.

Also a great story from this weekend is that on Kyle Leduc’s new pro 4 team is the addition of Danny and Kevin Huseman. Their knowledge and mechanical expertise is definitely a weapon that can only help Kyle chase the pro 4 championship.
