With a race time of 8:55:04 Vildosola Racing returned to a top 5 finish at the Baja 500, securing a 4th place finish in one of the most difficult races in the SCORE International championship that took place this past Saturday June 6th, in a new race track that started and finished in Ensenada and went through places like La Rumorosa and La Laguna Salada.
The mexican team represented by Tavo Vildosola and Javi Valenzuela started in the 8th position and maintained its usual attack strategy, passing racers like Robby Gordon and Bj Baldwin, obtaining a quality result for the Mexican team.
The excellent pit work and truck preparation, allowed a race with just a few setbacks, however, the logistics designed by Gustavo Vildosola and the professionalism of the chase crews finished a good event for the best Mexican off road team, that this year won its third consecutive San Felipe 250.
Vildosola Racing maintains themselves in fight for the points championship in efforts to be crowned as SCORE Trophy Truck Champions and make history once again by being the first mexican team to achieve this goal. Team preparations for this year’s Baja 1000 have already started, a race that will once again define the Trophy Truck Champion.
