VORE Off-Road Transit Van

Let’s say your are headed out into the never, never with six people chasing for a team or just heading down the dirt road to Punta Canejo for a surf. You can cram everybody into a full size truck like sardines or you can brave it in a stock van and shake all those toxins out of your kidneys, or you can take the new custom VORE Off-Road FORD Transit Van. It’s basically an “Off-Road Limo” that has all the accouterments of home as well as some basic off-road capabilities. Now your aren’t going to be going 100mph through whoops in San Felipe, but then again why would you if you have a built in Margarita machine? Add some surf boards or a kayak and The “Endless Summer” begins here, and it looks pretty fricken rad! I think we need to send Tony Tellier one of these for “testing.”

VORE customized a stock 2015 Transit 350HD DRW, High Roof XL wagon with the 3.2L I5 Diesel engine (six-speed automatic) and 148” extended length wheelbase. This is the biggest Transit wagon FORD offers.

The VORE vehicle is painted in Tuxedo Black Metallic, with charcoal cloth seats (from the factory). Optional equipment on it includes rear view camera, MyKey, passenger door running board, dual illuminated sun visors, privacy glass, trailer towing package, rear window defogger, AM/FM/CD/Sirius satellite radio with Sync, perimeter anti-theft alarm, and power inverter. “Transit offered us so much capacity to work with, we were able to take our plans further than we could with a typical van,” said Mike Self, of the Vegas Off-Road Experience. “It will be a great vehicle for taking guests out on course in high-end comfort.” Although the FORD Transit is relatively new the the American market FORD has been perfecting this platform for the last 50 years in Europe. With a 500+ mile range, lot’s of interior space, and lots of different models and configurations you are sure to have fun customizing it to fit your needs. Quigley Motor company is even making a 4×4 conversion so if you want to get deeper into the the never, never you can.

Now that Quigley has a 4wd conversion for the Transits. Have thought about making the conversion or parts available to the public. Nothing different basic what we see on the exterior and then more options for the interior. This is the most versatile vehicle conversion I have seen to date. I actually have the truck on my desktop at work and at home. Awesome family hauler. Job well done guys!!!
